I updated today and after checking some of my applications I noticed that the ones using Sencha ExtJS seemed broken. The problem seems related to Firebug, because disabling the add-on magically repairs the application. This will be very bad because it would seem I just lost my ability to debug my applications unless I downgrade Firebug.

For someone who wants to check it out, you can use the examples from Sencha, i.e: http://dev.sencha.com/extjs/5.0.0/examples/grid/binding.html

The error I receive is in an eval() statement:

ReferenceError: batch is not defined
http://dev.sencha.com/extjs/5.0.0/ext-all.js line 19 > eval
Line 2
var batch = 30803, child, next, prev, byClassName;

which seems weird, but I have no idea how I would get further insights.

I am having the same experience:  FF30 / FireBug 2 / ExtJs 4.x

I'm experiencing exactly the same problem with Firefox 30 and Firebug 2.0, however, instead of ExtJS 5.0.0 my application uses ExtJS 3.4.1.1.

I've found that if you disable the Firebug tabs Console and Script, it starts working again... but of course, those two of the most useful tabs....

I am having the same issue. Firebug causes my Ext app to go haywire. My app is using Ext 3.2, but is also a variable called "batch" that seems to be messing it up.

Sorry I meant to say that our app uses Ext 3.4, not Ext 3.2

We're having the same problem using our app which is based on the ExtJs 3.1 version.

Firebug 2.0.1 version fixing this issue is already waiting on AMO for a review,
but you can already check it out now:
