Firefox automatically updated my Firebug to 2.0.4 this morning, and now the toolbar button that shows the number of errors on the current page is missing. Was it deliberately removed, or is it a bug? Or did a setting change somewhere that I'm missing?

Forgot to mention, I'm on Windows 7 Firefox 32.0.

The button should still be there. Does it appear for you within the toolbar customization dialog available via Firefox menu > Customize?

I am having this same issue as well except I am on OS X 10.9.4.  It does not show up in the toolbar customization dialog either.  Any help would be appreciated I love my firebug! :)

I don't see the problem on my machine. Are you able to reproduce it consistently?
E.g. by installing 2.0.3 and updating to 2.0.4?
