Firefox 29+ Firebug w customizing toolbar

After the upgrade to Firefox 29, I have noticed that Firebug takes up 2 spots in the toolbar.

Is that normal?

What do you mean by 2 spots? Can you post a screenshot?

I have a new computer and I am seeing the same thing again.

Seems your answer was overlooked. Do you still have that issue?
The Firebug Start Button is a split button, so the empty part at the right side should actually display a black arrow indicating the drop down menu for the button.
