Hi all,

I'm running into a problem. In my Very lovely Firefox 21.0 I'm using Firebug 1.11.4. But Suddenly it stopped to console.log(). I couldn't solve the problem myself after trying many times and searching the internet. Inside Firefox's own Console it's displayed like Console API has been disabled. I now need to work with alert() function. And that's very odd, it just displays [object][object]. And I don't want to use Google Chrome for the same (console.log()).

Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Hi,

the whole message the Firefox dev tools Console reports is this:

The Web Console logging API (console.log, console.info, console.warn, console.error) has been disabled by a script on this page.

Is that the case and did you check if the console object gets overwritten by the page? Does it work when you install Firebug in a new Firefox profile?

Sebastian
