I realize that we may be a small group, but some of us Firebuggers still have a status bar because we use SeaMonkey or Status-4-Evar.  It would be nice if Firebug still provided a status bar icon to access it.  Does it?  Or has it been removed?  If it does, how do I enable it?

Best regards,

You should be able to customize it. See this post

Thanks, but that article talks about moving the icon to another toolbar, the add-on bar, which is no replacement for a real status bar.  I think Firebug should come with the functionality to be added to a real status bar in addition to toolbars.

@Honza:
In SeaMonkey it doesn't work to move the Start Button to the status bar. So we should probably add it back for non-Firefox browsers.

@Jeremy:
Please create a new issue for that.

Note that we currently don't officially support SeaMonkey
