Hi,

Is there any way to prevent updates to the latest versions? I want to go back to the 1.12 version, but after installation firebug is auto-updated.

Thank you,
Drazen

Sure, you can prevent updates for add-ons within the Add-ons Manager. To do so click the gear button at the top right and uncheck Update Add-ons Automatically.
Though it would be better if you helped the Firebug Working Group to fix the problems you experience with the 2.0 version. So what's the reason you downgraded to 1.12?

Thank you, it's working.

I have already posted the issue: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/firebug/UKC_NYGi4C0, but I did not have time to provide an example.
I saw you have worked on this already, it's an issue with switching between js files during search. Seems there have been some improvements but in the my case it's still working slow and braking the script during debug. In old version it's working perfectly.

I'm working on an application with a lot of js files. The issue happens if you add something in search box and press few times enter.
I will try to create an good example, do you need it?

I see.

Do you see an Unresponsive script dialog? The patch in issue 7621 unfortunately didn't fix everything yet. Therefore I created issue 7655.

What exactly means "lot of js files"? In issue 7655 we have ~2500 evaluated scripts, which is causing the problem. If you think, your problem differs from that one, please file a new issue and attach a test case to it. If you have different steps for the problem described in issue 7655, then please post them there.
Thanks.
