i sent this message to IbSurgeon support:

my firebord database has a stuck delta file. I already have the paid version of first aid. I made several copies of the corrupted database and delta file for safety. I can open the database, but i do not see any of yesterday's entries. I assume (and hope) they are in the delta file. I have done several actions with first aid, but none so far have merged the data so i can see it. Claude thinks the header in the delta file is corrupted and so it no longer ties to the corresponding fdb file. it is saturday noon here. I have to get this data back by monday morning when everyone logs on. I will continue trying the options in first aid, but so far none of them have given me a database with the missing data merged back in so i can see it.

end of message to IBSurgeon support

If anyone knows how i might be able to get the data back from the delta file, that would be great. The missing data is probably in the delta file, it is 137 Meg.

Meanwhile i deleted the delta file from my main directory, so users can continue, knowing there is missing data. If I ever get the missing data back, i will hand enter it into the current database.

Thanks
Dennis Justus
