IBObjects and Delphi 13

I am faced with a long overdue upgrade from Delphi XE2 to Delphi 13. Which means that I have to upgrade from IBO4 to the latest IBO. Which as far as I can tell is no longer available. So, I have a couple of questions.

Has anyone had any luck running IBO5 with Delphi 13?

If so, where can I obtain IBO5?

If not, has anyone had any experience moving from IBO to FireDAC?

Is there a document or tool that will help me with the migration?

I am running IBO 5.12.5 on D10.3.3 
I have not tested on D13 yet. I will try in the next few days and let you know.

I made the jump to FireDAC a few years ago.  I recall it was a fairly painful process.  However, the effort was worth it.

Do you happen to recall in which ways it was painful?

I have started playing around with a simple FireDAC application and there seem to be more similarities than differences between the two. One thing I noticed is that there doesn't seem to be RecVersion property for the transaction. Since I use RecVersion := True to control the way records are locked I'm concerned that switching to FireDAC will break my record locking strategy.

My pain was self-inflicted.  Just didn't plan the migration well enough.  It was when Firedac first came out, so I couldn't go back to a version where both IB Objects and FireDAC coexisted.

I moved from IBX and FIBplus to FireDAC a few years ago. And it depends on how Your application is written. Some of my apps were hart to migrate some were easy.

If You have trouble running IBO5 in Delphi 13 ask the IBO support for help. That would be the simplest option.
