Firebase 405 Method is not allowed

 I am trying to create a webhook into Firebase. This requires a HTTP HEAD request on the Firebase UR which returns a 405.

Is there a way to configure this method on Firebase?

What product are you using?  Cloud Functions for Firebase?  Then you might need to configure Express to handle the HEAD requests.

I am using the real-time database URL.   I decided to use a function instead  because it provides more flexibility.   The Method not Allowed error on a HEAD request is not a problem when using functions.

To answer the question, I found no way to allow a HEAD request when using the link to the database which is a common request when using a webhook integration. I recommend the use of functions instead.
