Firestore and Electron

Long time user of realtime database and now integrating firestore into some projects. Im following the setup found here in nodejs (client desktop application, not backend server admin). https://firebase.google.com/docs/web/setup

However, I cannot reference firebase.firestore() without error. I'm also doing a require("firebase/firestore"); as well with no luck. 

Is there a write up/documentation on working with Electron and Firestore yet?

We've recently fixed an issue related to this, which should be included in the next JS SDK release, likely to go out this week although I can't say for sure. You can keep an eye on the JS SDK release notes for when it goes out (any version > 4.6.2)
