Firebase Email Template Auth

Hi all,

I am trying to customise the email domain in the firebase email templates but it's been stuck in "Custom domain verification in progress" for a long time. I have checked my DNS entries and they're exactly as per the firebase instructions (my domain provider is Google Domains!).

Can anyone offer any advice as to why the verification is not completing, or if there is any diagnostics I can see?

I think you should contact support.

But, as a personal story, it happened to me too, and it turned out to be that my domain register in the "host" field didn't take the domain, like:

Type of Record: A

Host: mydomain.com

IP: 115..something.0.12

But it used the @ sign, like:

Type of Record: A

Host: @

IP: 115..something.0.12

You may need to cancel the domain verification, and re-set it
