The C++ SDK for firebase appears to be limited in comparison to the Android and iOS SDKs. I intend using Qt for cross platform mobile development, does firebase provide a clear cut solution to using it with Qt?
From my observation it appears the REST API has been discontinued because I can't see anything that speaks about it in the new documentation ( correct me if am wrong).

Does this mean I can't use firebase for file storage in Qt apps. Since the REST API only provides real time database support. Since this is the primary feature am after.
Can the C++ SDK be tweaked in any way for Qt Apps?
