Could I control which view application will open after the user clicked the notification?

for example

1) Send notification message through Firebase console or user HTTP API (https://fcm.googleapis.com/fcm/send)

2) Register device will received notification.

3) By default, application will launch after user click the notification. But now what I needed is application launch and bring the user to setting or other view after user click the notification.

How can I make this app flow behavior?

Sorry for my english. hope your all understand what I'm means.

Thanks in advance.

You need to add data to your the message you send to the game to allow you determine when you receive the message what to do when the application opens.  For example, "settings: 1" extra data could allow you to open the settings menu.

For a complete example see the messaging integration documentation for Mecha Hamster here https://google.github.io/mechahamster/mechahamster_guide_messaging.html .

Cheers,
Stewart

Hi Stewart,

Thanks for reply. Will check the documentation after this.
Can I ask another question? How do I record total notification is opened by user?
In the Notification funnel, the opened value always is 0.
Below is the screenshot for reference

From the documentation (https://support.google.com/firebase/answer/6317485?hl=en), notification_open should auto tracking by the Firebase library. but I can't see any value in the console :(
Thanks in advance

Which platform are you testing on and are you sure you're opening rather than dismissing the notifications?

Stewart

Sorry for late reply, yes. I'm sure I'm opening the notification.
I'm testing in iOS platform. The opening rate was tracked in Android platform.

best regards,
WynixToo

I've contacted the Firebase Messaging team to see what's going on here.  I assume this is only happening on iOS?

Looks like you've cross posted here: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/firebase-talk/FJdTBJobFy8 we can continue the discussion on that thread.

From the Firebase iOS messaging team:

"It's definitely a problem we're aware of and actively looking in to."

I'll respond with more information as it comes up.

Cheers,
Stewart
