Firebase Analytics for Web?

I'm wondering if there's a way to extend Firebase Analytics to web pages?

We have nodes of content which are displayed in both iOS and web views, and it would be amazing if we could coordinate analytics across the two platforms. As well, with Cloud Functions, you can take actions based on analytics but there is no SDK for web.

Anyone conquered this before, or suggestions on how to proceed?

Hey Doug,

There is currently no way to use Firebase Analytics on the web. This has been a pretty heavily requested feature though and we are definitely figuring out how we can make this happen. Your best alternative at the moment is to use Google Analytics on the web although we realize this is not a perfect solution and it doesn't have the Cloud Functions integration.

While we don't provide a web SDK as Jacob mentioned, there is a workaround for this.  If you integrate Firebase Analytics at the iOS layer of your app, you should be able to call through to it from a web view using a JavaScript bridge.  This is somewhat involved in terms of implementation.  Fortunately there are lots of blogs and walkthroughs that can be found through a search.

This strategy is viable for Android WebView as well.
