Hello Guys!
I want to add a Google sign-in to the app, so I created a Firebase project and added the package name of my app, and registered the app...
then later I deleted the project and created a new one and added the same package name for the app and this time I tried to add the SHA-1 key and I was not able to register because of some kind of conflict between the package name and the key, I had only used the package name before and not the key then also it was not registering the app.

so I recovered the old project and deleted the android app in it, hoping that it will no longer give me the conflicting error message so I went ahead and deleted the app, and then the project.

Still, I am having the same error.. also I tried to remove the project from https://console.developers.google.com/ (Resources pending deletion page) but there is no way to remove it but just to wait 30 days for it to be removed completely even I tried deleting the deleted project from cloud shell (hoping it might work).

Can anyone please assist me ASAP because without the SHA-1 key the google sign-in is not working!

Hi Yousha,

The thing you need to delete is called an "OAuth Client ID" and you can find it in the Google Cloud console for your project. If you need assistance with this please reach out to Firebase support:
