Firebase Unity SDK Release Notes - Offline Persistence

Is there a more detailed version of the release notes for 6.16.0, which currently say:

Realtime Database
  • Enabled offline persistence.
Persistence already has worked in Unity since migrating to the C++ SDK on device as far as we can see (although you alwsys need an internet connection on first app launch if you use auth anonymous sign-in to decide what keys your users will write to.) Does that mean it now works in Editor? Or has something else changed?

This change applies to the editor and standalone desktop builds. Namely, the C++ SDK for Windows, Linux, and MacOS have been updated with support for persistence and that change has propagated out to the Unity SDK as well 😃.
