ML Kit Image Labeling localized

Hi, is it possible to obtain labels from ML Kit Image Labeling in a given language?

I easily manage to get them in english... but i need different languages, any suggestion?

in the docs i found this "In addition the text description of each label that ML Kit returns, it also returns the label's Google Knowledge Graph entity ID. This ID is a string that uniquely identifies the entity represented by the label, and is the same ID used by the Knowledge Graph Search API. You can use this string to identify an entity across languages, and independently of the formatting of the text description."

is it possibile to use graph entity id to translate the label?

Hi Matteo,

The image labeling API only returns results in english. If you'd like to rely on the knowledge graph entity ID instead you could use the Knowledge Graph Search API to retrieve the corresponding string in other languages (example).

Thank you for your reply... unfortunately is not always reliable..

i have a pic labeled with

Label: Petal, Confidence: 0.98611933, EntityID: /m/016q19

Label: Flower, Confidence: 0.97793585, EntityID: /m/0c9ph5

Label: Plant, Confidence: 0.84675586, EntityID: /m/05s2s

Label: Garden, Confidence: 0.7800221, EntityID: /m/0bl0l

but if i check the second and the 4th label with knowledge graph, i obtain only an empty response... even in english

do you know why is this happening?

which one of the two, on-device or cloud? or are you getting similar results with both?

ah sorry, my response was quite ambiguos :)... i use only on device library... i didn't tried with cloud feature, because was only for testing purposes
