Hi Firebase
I'm signed up for spark plan and trying to setup my custom domain.
Have added the TXT tags in my domain, but firebase just says, it cannot verify. No more details to help diagnose what the problem is.
How do I know what the problem is exactly? Thanks

Here's the entries at my provider

Any help/indicators as what the problem is much appreciated
Thanks
Sola

Sola,

Great to meet you! I can't see the intended screenshots here; they may have been stripped.

You can try dig -t txt yourdomain.tld or other commands to verify the TXT records have propagated (this can take a while). You can also try an online tool to examine your TXT records.

Verifying those roles match what you expect, based on the instructions in your Firebase App Dashboard, is the first step. If they match perfectly and you still see the error, reaching out to sup...@firebase.com is the second : )

Hello Kato, thanks very much for very prompt reply
I've tried all the suggestions below. None suggest the TXT records exist on my domain.
This one couldn't be clearer!

host -t txt ntracker.co

ntracker.co has no TXT record

However, this is the entry on my registrar site

Zone "Default Gandi zone file (novity.io - 2014-12-29)" (version 4)*

Could something here be incorrect?

Hi Sola,

looks like the TXT records are at ntracker.co.ntracker.co - you need to change them to be on '@' (just ntracker.co)

Every DNS provider is different and it's a fairly common issue - we'll take a look at improving the instructions to make it clearer. Once you've made that change and they've propagated that should be all you need
