How to recover from a FIREBASE INTERNAL ERROR: Server Error: ClientId[...]:ErrorId[17152]: Write too large

Hi!

Once in a while, my customer are making a huge request to FB and my Node.JS server get the Write too large error.

After that, the firebase SDK client is just out of order. Event if I use the cluster feature (which makes 1 connection to FB by cluster), all my connections seams to be down...

Why the client just dies? I was hoping what it could handle this kind of error... Is there a way to recover from that?

Why are you making the request through Node.js instead of having your clients write to the db directly? Also, since you have a server intermediating, you could just check the size of the request before passing through...

My server have access to resources that my client can't have access. My product is not and can't be server-less.

What's the exact size to check? And even if I check the size, I would like to know how to recover from those errors.
