Hello all,

it seems the website http://findcurves.com has been down for at least 3-4 days now.
The website never loads and gives a "ERR_CONNECTION_RESET" error.

Any idea what is causing this ?

Is there any other Zunzun clone online somewhere ?

Yes, the free trial of Google Cloud ran out and I didn't notice. It is back up now.

$70.50/month and something like $10 a year for the domain name.

A few people offered to contribute and I suppose it's time for me to make that possible, I could use the help as I'm unemployed right now.

I can crank up the number of cores on a temporary basis on roughly the same cost basis (4 cores @ $70 -> 8 cores @ $140) for people who want to donate for temporary higher speeds or I can commit to 4 cores for a year and get about 30% off, which is what I have been leaning towards. I don't think anyone has expressed a preference yet.

Im ok with donating and i always thought the 4 cores gave adequate performance. let me know how i can funnel my illicit curvefitting money to you. And thanks again. I hope you get a great job soon!

I think the performance was fine when I used it a couple of days ago. I was function finding on 10 points and fit 700+ functions. I had to wait a bit - I just did something else :). Not sure what the old ZunZun.com had. Or if any of that even matters.

That said $71/month seems more than I would have thought but I know nothing about that. It depends on the load level I suppose?
