Hello everyone,

We are currently working on developing a setup where we can use the FED3 to interface with TDT for sound delivery. I know the FED3 has a BNC input, and in our previous experiments, we used different pulses to coordinate the timing of poke events with TDT.

Now we would like to expand this and use the FED3 to trigger (or strobe) sounds at specific time points via the TDT system. Has anyone tried something similar, or could suggest the best way to implement this?

Any advice, examples, or documentation references would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you,

Arpit

Hi Arpit,

Hamid (Taghipourbibalan) set up a system to send multiple TTLs to TDT equipment that uses serial communication rather than the BNC connector. It might be useful to check it out and Hamid would be happy to share experiences, provide advice etc.

Cheers
Jaime
