Hello! I'm having a problem where several of my devices randomly give 'Check SD Card' upon startup. I do not think this is a problem with the SD card- I can put the card into one device and it will boot properly, but when I put it into the 2nd it will give the error. All 4 of my devices will do this sometimes. I have tried resetting, reformatting the SD cards, different SD cards. Time seems to help - I left them alone for a week, and now 3/4 of them accept the SD card, but 1 still won't. But, there have been many times where they are working when I set them up, but when I turn them off then on again to change the device mode, they throw the error.
Do you have any ideas? I have found old threads on similar problems, but nothing I've found there worked.
Thanks,
Leina

How old are these FED3 devices?  And where are they from?

Given that it's intermittent, I'm wondering if you could have dust or corrosion on the contacts inside the SD card slot.  Can you try a few sprays of compressed air in SD card slot, NES cartridge style?
