smokeview load slowly

The total number of cells is 23,000,000 in my data.

When I want to open the smokeview, it load very slowly.

If the model open, mouse in the model move so quickly.

How should I do to love the problem?

How slowly? Try with latest version, v6.3.5 and see if that is better.

23 Mio cells is big. You need a good computer also to show the results! What I always did: Only show the results, for example the slice, hide the objects!

smokeview recently succeeded in loading a case with 1.3 billion cells. So it should be able to handle 23 million cells - at least viewing the geometry. I made some changes to make the initial startup more efficient. So, try your case again with smokeview 6.3.5 . The other thing you can do to make startup more efficient is to run smokeview from the command line using the -noblank option. If the startup is still slow, start an issue, including your input file.

I use the SMV 6.3.5 to open the model.(attachment)

The SMV can open the model, but initial startup still take a lot of time (The process takes over 3 hours).

How should I set the smoke view to startup more efficient?
