Firstly who is up for the FBIP tour next year. Please let me know ASAP!!!!

Here are costs for next year. I have two options as we have discussed.

Option 1 - Majorca - 13th May to 18th May

5 night stay at Zafiro Palmanova B and B

1 Green Fee for Son Muntaner Golf Course - Arabella Golf.

1 Green Fee for Son Vida Golf Course - Arabella Golf.

1 Green Fee for Golf Son Quint.

Single Green Fee for Real Golf de Bendinat.

Buggies included

Airport transfers

Golf transfers

Flights Incuded

Costs Majorca

£1495  2 sharing a room

£1745 single room cost

Option 2 - Bulgaria - 14th May to 19th May

5 night stay at Lighthouse Golf and Spa Resort

3 rounds of golf (5 x Lighthouse).

1 round Black Sea Rama

1 Green Fee for Thracian Cliffs

Buggies Included

Airport transfers

Golf transfers

Flights included

Costs Bulgaria

£1045 2 sharing a room

£1250 Single  room cost

My view is that the cost of going to Majorca is getting bleeding expensive as is anywhere in Spain and Portugal. Also with the costs of meals, drinks and losing at golf, you are talking of way over 2 grand.

The cost of Bulgaria is what we were paying 15 years ago. I have checked with some guys at the golf club and they say Bulgaria and the courses were great. Bulgaria gets my vote.

Typical temperatures in Bulgaria in May are around 21c apparently.

Bulgaria looks interesting and would be good to try somewhere different.

A couple of questions.

Is Bulgaria option all inclusive or B&B.

I assume flights will be from Gatwick which is a “pain in the ass” for me to get to so would look at flying from Birmingham or Manchester. Who are the flights with?

With BA. I am sure Geoff or I would put you up probably on the way back as it gets into Gatwick at midnight. The outward bound takes off at 3pm which will give you plenty of time to drive down in the morning.

It means we get 5 rounds in.

Happy with Bulgaria, but I heard only yesterday strong recommendations for Costa Novarino. Supposedly Greece is the new Turkey.

Anyone heard anything about this?

Am happy with either. Went to Majorca last year and it was excellent so would always get my vote but given the cost difference and the 'adventure' value of going somewhere else i'd definitely be up for Bulgaria.
