Hello, Jimm.

At some point after downloading an ebook from ficbook.net I've got an error 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'find'. Since then I've tried restart Calibre, restart network connection but that doesn't help.
Is there anything that I can do to fix this problem? Can you give any advice?
My version of Calibre — 4.23 (I'm on Windows 7). FFF is 4.57.0

If needed I can send a debug log.
Thank you in advance.

The site changed (again).

I've posted fixed test versions in the usual places.

I checked the other collected metadata, but couldn't find any stories with a dedication, so I'm not sure about that one.

Oh! Thank you!
But it says that plugin needs Calibre v. 5.0.0 and newer, but on Win 7 this version doesn't work.
Is there any possibility to use new FFF version with Calibre 4.23?

You might be able to copy and paste the file for the website into the older plugin if it doesn’t do anything not supported on the older version.

Reminds me i want to see if i can figure out FF’s parser enough to make something to tell me when its a sites slightly broken comeback in a few days error.

I haven't actually started removing the code for earlier support yet.
I'm planning to do that next month.

So you could edit the __init__.py file inside the plugin zip to change
minimum_calibre_version back to 4.

I want to see how many people notice the change. Calibre usage stats say
there's fewer than 5% using versions older than 5 now.  It's crossed
below how many people use linux (aka 'oth'), which was my rational for
continuing cal v2/3/4 support.

Cal5 is the cutoff because that's the change from python2 to python3.

It worked!
Thank you very-very much!  What a relief when everything works.
I appreciate your help.

It's a pity that the plugin will stop working on older versions of Calibre. I understand the irrationality of supporting previous programs, but it is not always possible to update the OS.
