Looks like I've got a very tall and very dead pine tree in front of my house. Does anyone know of a good (and cheap) tree service that they would recommend?

Trapper,

I have used A. White Meadows tree service both here in PTC and when I lived in Sharpsburg. Recommend. Caveat. No such thing as cheap tree removal!!  But these guys come in less than others.

Trapper,

I don’t have a specific business recommendation but I do have a technique that has worked for getting multiple trees cut from my property.   This mainly works if you have 5 + trees to remove. 

I get an estimate for 2 or 3 trees (multi tree discount from the company).  Then when “the crew” shows up, I ask the Forman “how much would it cost me IN CASH, to get x number of additional trees cut down”?  It is usually significantly cheaper per tree but I still negotiate it lower.
