Heads up! We are planning a 4th of July cookout this year. Details will follow in due time. Friends and family invited.

Just so you know, the FRVS has been doing fly overs for various events this spring. We never ask for compensation as you know. But we do, somewhat reluctantly, accept donations to our party fund. Recent donations have built the fund to the point that we will be paying it out to all of our members via hosting a PARTY!
So mark that date on your calendars!

Cheers
Dar

Don,
Thank you for the invite. Please don't take this the wrong way but I want to point out that this party potentially violates the new proposed airport rules.
Specifically:
BBQ grills?
4.1 SMOKING OR OPEN FIRES PROHIBITED
Smoking or the lighting of an open flame or fire on the airport is prohibited except in designated areas or
when specifically approved by Airport Management.
Gas Grills?
5.4 COMPRESSED GASES
No cylinder or flask of compressed flammable, corrosive, or noxious gases shall be stored in any hangar,
except as may be necessary to conduct business as a Fixed Base Operator or Commercial Operator and
only as approved by the Authority.
Friends and Family Invited?
1.9 RESTRICTED AREAS
All areas of the airport, except certain terminal areas open to the public, are restricted. No person shall
enter upon restricted areas, any hangars, or the Airport Operations Area, except:
A. Persons assigned to duty therein;
B. Authorized representatives of the FAA, the Georgia Department of Transportation, the NTSB,
appropriate law enforcement personnel, or crash-fire-rescue and emergency medical technicians;
C. Passengers under appropriate supervision, entering the Airport Operations Area for the purpose of
enplaning and deplaning;
D. Business representatives in the conduct of their business with airport tenants;
E. Aircraft owners, pilots, and their authorized representatives; and
F. Members of the Peachtree City Airport Authority, their employees, and representatives.

This is your airport authority at work!
