[f-AA] 7AC Wing Fuel Tank Needed

I'm installing an O-200 in my Champ and need a 5 or 6 gallon wing tank, anybody have one?

Short of that does anyone have drawings for one?

I got the 5 gallon tank from Wag-Aero. It only holds 5 gallons in flight. 4.1 when refilling on the ground.

Sadly wag aero no longer manufactures them and no stock at aircraft Spruce even though it’s listed on their website.

Any amount over three or 4 gallons would work for me you need .15 gallons of gas per horsepower so 15 total for 100 hp, and the main tank as you know is 13 gallons.

They are getting tough to find for sure. You might have some luck posting a wanted ad on Barnstormers. Short of that you might be able to some early Citabria wing tanks that were 13 gal each and remove the nose tank. Bigger job of course if you’re forced to go that way but might be nice to lot have all that fuel over your lap.

Getting to be tough to find some of these parts that used to be had with a phone call. 

Scott, who once bought a whole champ project just to get the original fuel cap.
