As this coming weekend includes Labor Day, I anticipate a possible polling process for game day(s).  Here is an alternative idea.  We expect a Saturday game, as usual (as always!) and at the game people can see how much interest there is for an extra game for Monday, and then (Saturday after the game) a post can be made saying whether or not a Monday game looks promising or perhaps then (Saturday after the game) polling to see how many may want to play in the extra game.  My main motivation in this is to avoid us splitting our "numbers" between two dates and having perhaps low turnout for two days rather than a strong turnout for one day.  Fortunately (not fortunately, but because of our wonderful, fun games!), we have been having good numbers for the game for a good while now, but maybe not sufficient to split the showing in half.  This approach would also help people to plan; believe it or not, some players do plan and make time and look forward to the game day (of course others just roll out of bed and see what they feel like doing).

Speaking of Labor Day, don't forget Aaron's kind invitation to his party that day!

Speaking of labor day and planning...

I'd be grateful if folks could confirm your plans to make it on Monday and how many in your party?  Even if you can't 100% confirm, just let me know your interest and if you think it's 50/50 or whatever.  I plan to get some food from Carlino's for the day and would like a general sense of #'s.  This also means if you don't RSVP, but find you are available, you're of course still welcome. (I'll have a bit extra).

I said start time at 2:00, but really, it's going to be when the game starts winding down on Sunday.  I just need to leave a little early to get things set.

Lastly, it is a pool party, so you're welcome to jump in.  I think some are going home to shower and then popping over.  If you live a little distance away and would still like to clean up, I have showers available to use.

I do have towels...but probably best to bring your own as I may run out.

If weather is an issue, we'll turn the swimming pool party into a pool table/shuffleboard party.  So, this is on...rain or shine.
