Gents, 

To change the constitution, votes have to take place through email.  I will be sending out separate threads for each discussion topic with one going at a time.  In each thread you will have

a) Copy of the current version of the constitution
b) Offseson to do list - This also has the results of the offseason poll.  


Amendment #4 is to drop a bench spot and shorten the draft by 1 round.  This would mean the draft last 14 round instead of 15 and it would leave the one existing IR spot.  

I am aware that there were some of you who were willing to exchange the bench for a second IR spot, but there was some hard disagreement there and I do not think it would pass (Me, Tim, Paul, and Jeremy who is a hard no to roster contraction of any sort would vote it down, at least)

So, I am just going to bring forward the 1 bench spot roster reduction from 6 to 5 bench spots.    

In the survey, here were the results: 

Official language change: 
In Section IV STRIKE

Each team's roster will consist of 15 active players/team defenses

and REPLACE WITH: 
Each team's roster will consist of 14 active players/team defenses

AND 

In Section VI STRIKE
  • The draft will last 15 rounds.
  • Each team will be allotted 2 minutes per draft pick for rounds 1-8.  Each team will be allotted 1 minute per draft pick for rounds 9-16

and REPLACE WITH: 
  • The draft will last 14 rounds.
  • Each team will be allotted 2 minutes per draft pick for rounds 1-8.  Each team will be allotted 1 minute per draft pick for all rounds after round 8

I vote Yes.
