Hi everyone,

Hope you're all doing well! Thank you to everyone who attended the first installment of our Constitution Review Meeting! For those of you who attended, you'll remember that we discussed meeting this Wednesday to continue our review rather than on Valentine's Day! The 2nd Part of our Constitution Review Meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 7th from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. in the Civil & Environmental Engineering Design Studio (on the 4th floor of Snell Engineering). You will notice this is a different space from our typical meeting room, as we only have the space in Ryder on alternating Wednesday evenings!

Taking into account some feedback I've overheard on the administration of the meeting, we will try to effectively use this time to decide on changes we would like to see so that a new copy of our Constitution may be drafted and ready to be ratified at our next regular E-Board meeting! In preparation for this meeting, please review the rest of the Constitution on your own that we were unable to read together. This way we can open up the meeting with a discussion of the key points of contention identified at our last meeting (E-Board Structure, the existence of sub-committees, elections & the transition of knowledge between incoming and out-going E-Board members, and protocol for accountability/removal of E-Board members). Additionally, I will leave space within the agenda for anyone to voice concerns or necessary changes to their individual sections for their roles. Thank you all in advance for your cooperation, and I greatly appreciate your dedication, enthusiasm, and patience as we finalize our document and decide on the operation of the club for the next 2 years!

Additionally, if anyone needs to dial in for a virtual option, I am implementing an idea expressed at the last meeting and only extending a virtual meeting link to those who request a virtual option with a valid reason for not attending in person! As always, do not hesitate to reach out if you feel this applies to you!

All the best,
Ben Lanava

Hi Ben,

I would like the virtual option for Wednesday as I am currently out of the country.

Thanks,
Nellie Entcheva
