Convincing Two Great Awakenings now a jeremiad list
Heathen rage and people imagine a vain thing to ponder
Rulers take counsel, earth’s potentates are all set against
Immanuel’s bands and cords are merrily broken asunder
Sits the Lion with uncaused aseity laughing in contempt
Throne of justice vexes by grapes of wrath in displeasure
My King born impaled decreed to vex from Holy Mount
Ask of Me for all nations of the earth to the uttermost part
Serve the Lamb who will strike and dash with an iron dart
