I found this to be really difficult, but then I'm no art expert. The best way to tell a photograph from a painting is to look for smooth continuous shading, something few human artists have the technical ability to accomplish, and to look for super fine detail, I tried to use the same technique but I know an AI can make pictures that look like a human had painted them. I also look for super fine detail that is more likely to come from an AI than a human, but then MC Escher included a lot of final details so I don't know.
