There are some very clear phone videos of the insurging tide that's coming in around Tonga and also there is a title surgeon California not nearly as bad caused by the eruption. It's easy to find on Twitter, if you do a search on any search engine and it will take you directly there with better photos so to speak vids, then you will usually see on the news.

My son-in-law, an avid surfer, went down to the beach to see the surge.  It was noticeable, but not impressive...until you reflected on how far it came.

Closest I saw on the day (I live on a beach on the east coast of
Australia) was the water level going from roughly the mid-tide mark
(full beach exposed) to the full tide mark and back again over about a 10 second
interval. Otherwise, things seemed very gentle.
