I got a good laugh today when we contacted IgniteTech about potentially upgrading to the latest version.

We were quoted $540,000 per year for a 20-seat license.  You read that correct... $540,000 PER YEAR!!!

Is that really what people are paying for Everest nowadays?  I'm in the wrong line of work!!

Ridiculous!

I tried upgrading from 5.2.06 back in 2019 and they wanted $185,000. Needless to say we’re still using the same 5.2.06 version!

Best regards,

I will be switching to GP dynamics at the end of the year simply because my partner needs/wants iCloud access...  I am looking at 4 seats at 99 bucks a month and a transition of about 75K but that includes training and all sort of third party integration's.  I can't complain because I have gotten 20 years worth of Everest 4.02... and its still a rock star...

You guys should check out Greenestep.   We switched from Everest to Greenestep 6 or 8 years ago.   They have a cloud hosted version and an onsite version.    We switched to the cloud hosed in 2020

These numbers are unbelievable, can I ask what kinda of turnover do have from your 20 seats, $540,000 is a fortune. I am sitting with a perpetual licence for 5 seats and paying a very minimal amount for Platinum maintenance but of course I get none. I am using the guys at akutesoft.com for most thing including Magento integration and would recommend. Everest are always playing me to go the cloud and won't sell me anymore seats for my licence but when I see these numbers, there is no way I am moving.

We only do about $6 million per year in sales.  $540,000 is an insane amount!!

We're on 5.0.25 - the last really stable version IMO (5.0.26 is the same).

Hey Greg!

We are able to run 5026 on win2016 (multiple accounts running in production with it).
We have the system functional on 2019 as well for web site (ecom) services. For the UI there are some hang ups with 2019. We have developed solutions to "work around" those hang ups. Additionally, we have worked out a few AWS configurations (workspace, web workspace, vpn, or straight RDP) which enables methodologies for getting around the UI considerations.

Please let us know if you would like a consultation related to this. We would be excited to work with you.

Hello All,

Just a quick post on the upgrade or migration from Everest to Acumatica Cloud ERP.
We have several customers whom we have migrated in last few years to the cloud. Customers who were paying 50-70K in yearly subscription or annual maintenance have switched from Everest to Acumatica and now they pay 35 to 55k per year with a modern cloud ERP, fully hosted and they are happy they made the switch. Cut your cost in operating your legacy ERP and the money you save can be re-invested for growth of your business.

Thanks

We moved from Everest to Acumatica over a year ago.  We are ecstatic that we made the move.  Acumatica is a great product.

Sincerely,
