Sadness

It saddens me to say Chuck Dipietro went home on Feb, 16 2022.

For those of you who remember Chuck he was long time EVBC member and had a red 65 Barracuda. Several years ago he wrote us at EVBC basically saying good bye because he had stage 4 colon cancer which spread to his lungs and other areas. Chuck was on the mend though and fighting hard for avery long time. He was vocal about people getting colonoscopies  because he never did and felt his illness could have been caught in its early stages if he did. We would meet a Belvedere  Mopar Happening  when we could. We both live in Illinois. Chuck Traded his Barracuda for a 66 Black Chrysler convertible Newport and said good bye again  to EVBC.

I last saw Chuck in Aug 2021. He was happy  spirited and full of life. A few  moths later in a text I found out his Cancer had come back.

I remember seeing chuck’s story and name now that you reminded us about it.  Definitely a sad deal but it sounds like he have cancer a run for it’s money.  Rest In Peace Chuck!

I’m sad to hear this. Thank you for letting everyone know. I remember his enthusiasm and a willingness to pass along his experiences, good and bad, in order to help others. Cancer sucks. Sometimes it’s beyond anyone’s ability to overcome it.
