Dear Ms Debangana Chakravorty,
The best way to send the comments that will both help you and the author of the paper is by using Microsoft Word.
Simply use Track Changes and Comments to add your review. Finally, if you have a comment in the overall paper, kindly send it along with the reply email.
Step by step instructions (Track Changes):
1) In microsoft word go to the tab "Review"
2) One of the options is "Track Changes". It has a pencil and a paper as icon.
3) Click on the icon. (Please note: Please do not click on the text wirtten Track Changes but click the icon)
4) You are now ready to review the changes.
5) When you insert a word or even a letter; it will come as a red text underlined. This will help the author to find out the mistakes.
6) In the tab "Review", there is a comment icon.
7) Use the Comment icon to add a comment to the review paper. This will stand out like a "Post it note"
