Convert ETE tree + data plot into plotly interactive viz?

Can an ETE figure consisting of a phylogenetic tree plus an aligned plot (in my case a heatmap) be converted to an interactive plotly figure?

This conversion can be easily done for matplotlib plots, e.g.: https://geo-python.github.io/2017/lessons/L7/using-plotly.html#saving-your-first-matplotlib-plot-to-plotly

Yes! Currently we are advancing toward ete4 where we will engage more with the interactive session, including the aligned plots.
