Rename BOM

Dear All,

Is it possible to rename BOM? 

I ask this because there can be more than one BOMs for an item and to rename these BOMs as per user convenience would be helpful.

Satish,

Since BOM ID is system generated, it's renaming is not allowed.

You should write custom script to set naming series for BOM which helps in easy identification. Check following link for sample script to customize document numbering series.
