Hi,

Please tell me how to group items under some category. As I know about BOM but any other?. Because I will sell kitchen accessory to my customers and the kitchen accessory contains different sub items. I want to group those sub items under kitchen accessory(kitchen accessory is not any product, it is simply a container/box ie goodday biscuits inside goodday pack ). How to do this in ERPNext?

Rushabh I tried the grouping of items under its parent/main item. When we sold that parent item, in our stock sub items(which comes under parent item) will be reduced but by this how should we make the stock entry(not given stock entry option). When we deal with production order we will find stock entry for item moment. But here(sales BOM) I not found any stock entry for items movement(here also items are moving right)from store to packing

Rahul

Rahul,

When you make Delivery Note for Sales BOM item, stock of child items (selected in Sales BOM) will be deducted from the warehouse.

Check Stock Ledger report for Delivery Note after submitting it. Just like Stock Entry, Delivery Note and Purchase Receipt also effects item's stock level.
