Custom Product Details

Hello,

I'm new with erpnext and have one question I could'nt figure out yet:

We are building an online grocery store for ecologic food and we need to supply different information such as "vegan" "vegetarian" "lactosefree" etc. on each product. Is there a way of adding product-details (separately - e.g. with checkboxes for "vegan" "vegetarian") to a new or existing product?

Hello Zubin,

You can categorize items using Item Group master.

https://erpnext.com/user-guide/stock/item-group

This will also help you list items separately based on their item groups.

Else, you can insert custom fields in the Item master and update values in them.

Hi Umair,

thank you so much for your quick response! Unfortunately I already tried to create a custom field using the description on https://erpnext.com/user-guide/customize-erpnext/custom-field but in the online demo-version I don't get to the point to create it. I tried to get there over stock --> item ---> ?? Or over All applications --> Setup --> Item ??

Can you help me?
