Auto numbering for items

i want to make automatic numbering series for items when i create new items

By default item get saved by its item code.

If you want to save item by series ,
Goto stock settings - select Item Naming By as Naming series.

ok but i want when i create a new item to take number automatic

create item one - number series: 1

           item two - number series: 2

           item three - number series: 3 

         every new item take number/ series automatic
