Equity in Chart of Accounts

Just setting up our Chart of Accounts and I notice you only have Assets but not Equity type accounts. 

Is it possible to add a type of account or would that stuff up the Balance sheet reporting.

If not what have other customers done with the equity accounts.

I have just seen how it is done. Equity is a type rather than an account major group.

This is on our list - you will soon be able to list Equity as a major group!
