Submitting backdated invoice and stock journals

Hello everyone, could someone please explain to me why it's impossible to submit backdated invoice and stock journals in v3 of erpnext?

Creating the invoice works fine, but submitting it does not work. The system simply responds with "unable to complete request".

So too is submitting a stock journal entry.

Seraaj,

Check browser's javascript console? It might contain an error trace which should reveal the issue.
