Item wise tax not working

Hi,

I added item tax in item master. I also created a 0% tax master. When I create sales invoice and add the item (item with tax) and add 0% tax master, no tax is getting added. I want to add tax based on particular item in sales invoice.

Hi Dhaval,

Have you tried changing the tax rate from 0% to some other % for testing. Maybe the developers are ignoring 0% tax as many do since they are effectively ZERO only.

Just a guess from my end.

Dhaval,

Tax ledger mentioned in the Sales Invoice should be same as tax ledger mentioned in item master. Then only itemwise taxes will be applied.

If you mentioned tax in item AFTER selecting it in Sales Invoice, you should reselect it in the Sales Invoice.

Thank you for your suggestion, Keeping same tax ledger in item master and sales invoice worked very well.
