Hi,

There is a new small but very useful feature in erpnext 4 where while making the delivery one can just look at the warehouse labels and know by its colour whether the item is in stock or not.
But I think it is not working right for me. It sometimes shows green (in stock) and sometimes shows grey (not in stock) even if the item is in stock.
I am attaching two photographs which show this problem. Please note the availability for item "9004 Glo Jobwork".

Note that it shows the required quantity available at the warehouse but the label is still grey.

Regards

Satish Gupta

Hello Satish,

With Actual Qty, item's Projected Qty is also taken into account. Please check if you have less Qty for this item in stock with respect to Projected Qty.

Hi Umair,

I think apart from projected quantity it happens when the required quantity is either more than or equal to the actual quantity.
It actually needs the actual quantity to be greater than the required quantity to turn green.
I have noticed that whenever my actual quantity available at the warehouse is more than the required quantity, the label is green.

Something else that I have noticed is that when the entry is in the draft stage, the required quantities are compared with actual quantities at the warehouse.
However, as soon as the entry is submitted, the actual quantities are updated (increased or decreased as per the entry) and the new quantities are shown in the actual quantity boxes.
As this happens, the labels which were earlier green in the draft stage turn to red after the submission of entry.
Shouldn't the submission of an entry block the colours as they were at the draft stage? I frequently get confused while looking at the submitted entries which give an impression as though the required
quantities weren't available in the warehouse when the entry was made.

Regards
Satish Gupta
