installation at domain.com, but I'd much prefer sub.domain.com - how can I change this?

Hi,

I've followed the installation instructions for production and successfully got through with it.

But now when I go to domain.com - it leads to ERPNext and not the website. I'm surprised because the default Nginx port is 8080, whereas ERPNext uses 8000. Irrespective of entering any port after domain.com, ERPNext launches prompting me to log in!

I want ERPNext to appear at sub.domain.com instead. Please tell me how this can be achieved?

Thanks a lot,
Sooraj

Can you share your nginx config via pastebin/gist? You can redact parts / replace with X’s that you don’t want to make public.

Thanks,
Anand Doshi.

Hi Anand,

the nginx config is exactly the same as on the 'WSGI Production Deployment' instructions with only: server_name changed to xxx.com and root correctly specified.

I haven't amended the nginx/default - should this be changed?

I also noticed that the first company I made couldn't be deleted because of it's association with various elements - I had to delete all those different suppliers/email schedulers for the company to be deleted. Is there an easier way - I only wanted to change the name.

Thanks a lot,
Sooraj
