Turning of Serial Number tracking on existing items

We want to turn off this feature for existing items.  We do not care if we lose those serials tracked to date.

We have a simpler way to do this but need to turn off for existing items.

We are not python programmers, so need a way to do without programming by us.

Serialised items can be only tagged as non-serialised item, if there are no stock transactions against them. Ideally you should create a new item code for those item mentioning “Has Serial No” as “No”. Disable old item after issuing all qty and receiving same qty as opening qty for new item.
