Hi,

We recommend CentOS 6+ minimal or Ubuntu 12.10, without any CPanel or WingPanel installation.

Thanks,
Anand.

Hi,

Installation is still not a one command process for erpnext :(
We are planning to create a new installer that should take the no. of steps to just 2-3.

For now, please tell us where you are stuck and we can guide you from there. Be as specific as possible.

For starters, whats the python version?
You can get this using the command:
python --version

Thanks,
Anand.

If you are not familiar with basic Linux system administration, I recommend you use the ERPNext Virtual Image, or get help from someone who knows.

There are other forums for troubleshooting setup of Apache, MySQL etc.

best,
Rushabh

Hi,

You just need Oracle Virtualbox - https://www.virtualbox.org/ to use the image. (It is a free software)

Download and install VirtualBox, import the image and run :)

Thanks,
Anand.

When starting with install, make sure that only install_erpnext.py file remains in that folder.

Hi,

Please read install instructions carefully:

You need to create a folder: /var/www/erpnext and the file install_erpnext should be in /var/www/erpnext/install_erpnext.py

Then you need to run python install_erpnext.py
