Hi,

I am trying to make a script report, but for a starter I have copied the report from this link

But the problem is that when I am loading the report in my test environment I am getting the following error:

The problem is coming in one of the query report files inside the frappe folder which I have not changed, kindly please let me know what am I doing wrong in here.

Looks like you have marked the Script Report as Standard=Yes and it is unable to find the python file for the report.

For script report, you need to have a python file that has the script.

Hi Aditya,

I think in new system custom script reports needs to be created as an app.

Kind regards,

Aditya,

Please pull the latest update. That error should go.
Though it is still necessary that you need to have a python file in your app for script report. Else use query report instead.

Hi Anand,

I have pulled the latest updates, though it took me like an hour to pull the updates since the bench update command updates all the apps.

By the way I guess the problem was the Is Standard field only. I had marked the script report Is Standard as NO in my custom app whereas I think the system wanted me to mark the report as is standard === Yes.

I guess that has made things work.
